Newcastle super car track

There are only two decent tracks.. Bathurst and Phillip Island.

Re: Newcastle super car track

Agree in principle. Simmonds Plain is not too bad, but the street circuits (Gold Coast, Adelaide, Newcastle, Townsville - even Melbourne are all far too crowded with no safe runoff areas and very few areas to safely pass without endangering both drivers. However, I guess is is all about money - more people can get to see these events in the major venues. Mind you, Bathurst is not really that driver friendly either - there are still areas where an off can cause severe bending of cars and injury.

Re: Newcastle super car track

Bathurst has become a soft Track also. Chit, they won't even allow the Motor Bikes to race there, yet we have the Isle of Man. Harden the fork up youngins and have a go and don't be lolled into the thinking of..........oh it's okay, if I fork up, I have a nice soft run off area to aim for! ;)
