Mind you, it took me nearly 30 years of riding to finally get pinged for speeding on the bike. Could be waiting a while.....

Years ago I almost got pinged on a bike whilst overtaking a Mini Minor. "Colònel " was coming in the opposite direction and almost scored me. I was doing in excess of 35mph whilst overtaking.






















It would have been really tough for the "Colonel" to have explain why he wiped off a CYCLIST, as in pushbike, on a 3 speed, 28" bike.... It occurred on Bluff Rd hill near Black Rock a nice long 1 mile gentle downhill run to Beach Rd.

The look on the Mini driver as I overtook him was priceless. Yes I did have a speedo on my pushy...
