Had my last meal being a cup of soup at mid day and yet the family have cooked up a storm of trout, potatoes.. you know... real food.

My boss advised me to make sure they perform the Gastroscopy first ..... :D

All is good. Blood pressure after recovery was 110/70 until I had my first coffee and it went up to 117/76.( one of theatre nurses is my neighbour and she got me a real coffee.. not the hospital crap) No nasty surprises in the probing departments  and he doesn't expect to see me until 4 years time.

Re: "The Totaly Off Topic Thread"

Ive been re organising the shed recently, and during my cleaning up, found all my old BMX parts and frames. I have 1 frame that I know is old. I took some snaps of it and put it up on an old school bmx FB page, for the gurus to give me some info on it.
They told me its a 1990 S + M Mad dog, the 2nd rarest S + M frame ever. I did some googling, and found a thread from 2012, on a UK bmx forum, and someone there sold a well used frame for around 200pounds.
Ive already had a guy from Canada wanting to buy it from me. He didn't say a price, but I told him that Im in Aust and postage would be a killer. Hes passed my name and details onto a collector from QLD.
I have no idea what its worth right now, but its in fairly good nick. I cant find any on ebay.
I bought a shirtload of bmx parts and frames, off a mate years ago, for next to SFA, this frame was in that shirtload.
Score!!!

I don't have an anger issue, well not recently anyway but right about now i'm about to throw the loaf of bread, the toaster and butter out the door.

I can make a brownie or roast chicken or whatever my 2 year old or her dad feels like for dinner but do you reckon I can do a simple toast? I've so far wasted half a loaf and have nothing to show but bloody charcoal and a smoky house. This baby is messing with me....

Re: "The Totaly Off Topic Thread"

Just heard from the qld based bmx collector, that the Canadian guy put me onto. Just sold the frame for 400 big ones. Yay for me!!

And my tuff truck ticket finally arrived today. Double yay for me!!

And I went into work today, and I will be going in again tomorrow. Triple yay for me!!
Whys that so good, you ask?? I haven't had a shift for about 3 weeks. Now 2 shifts this week, 2 more next week. Ill have spending money at TTC.

And Tuff Truck is only a week and a bit away.

Yay all round!!

Nate, its a shed. It might be joined to the house, but its a shed.

Excellent news Barnsey. Welcome to the corporate world. You might even have to wear a tie :D Although refining is a dying business in Australia, it's great non mining experience for you to then be able to easily slip into something else.

True, Emo.

The refinery is due to close in 2016. That will leave Suns Metals and Clive Palmers white elephant QNI, in Townsville.......

Barnsey...your recent employment has had an overnight effect on the National unemployment rates and has caused a drop in the numbers plus our dollar is that much stronger.

Well done.

:D

Re: "The Totaly Off Topic Thread"

Hello.

We think we came last in the 12 Hr Paj Challenge, one of our club cars busted a front wheel off so DNF'd. maybe they are last.

I woke up with a chest cold the day after the challenge, then a week later I think I got food poisoning, if not worst gastro bout I ever had.
So two weeks later I am still a bit sick and not real keen on food yet.

otherwise all is good in the Struth household

Re: "The Totaly Off Topic Thread"

Hey ho.
Not to much to report from the DL household. Midway through the school holidays, so its chaotic, well kinda, sorta.
We palmed the 3 younger kidlets off to Mels parents/grandparents for the 1st week, as Mel has been on hospital placement for uni, she seems to be enjoying it, comes home with some gross stories. So a quiet first week here. Only had number 4 here all week, but she was quiet, and surprisingly easy to deal with, which was nice. Number 1 has been coming and going with his new girlie, stayed here for a day or 2 then went again.
The 3 youngest came home yesterday(Friday), and it was good to see them all. Number 2 went to her dads today, supposed to be seeing number 1 tomorrow.
I moved the kids mattresses out into the loungeroom yesterday so they can have a sleepout in the loungeroom, just for something different.
That's about it, my life is way exciting.

Dudlux still hasn't been finished, might make Willowglen 2017, if I hurry up. Been pottering in the shed, still trying to re-organize shit in there, getting real close to having it how I want it. I might even be able to get the DL in there once its done.

Whats new pussy cats??
