aircleaner for A/C

I have a GQ which I find the air out of the A/C smells stale when the air is on recirculatory, ie only cabin air, no fresh air. Smell goes away on fresh air. You might have dirty air vents if you are into the great out doors and the A/C is just pumping the dirty air around ( a bit like ducting heati...

Is the LPG not an option with this motor? ie Not worth the hassle, not compatible ( most Jap engines can run on LPG). No room in the engine bay. ECU issues You wanted more power so it could be a retrograde stepto go LPG..ie two steps forward, one step back. In closing...The conversion looks grouse. ...

Paid 7.5K, body in vey good condition. Only complaint so far is that it has drums all round. What would you suggest would be the easiest way to do a disc conversion?

you can't say 'I think' when it comes to Nissan. Mate has a 4500 turbo and apart from lousy service..when things went wrong they first pointed the finger at him....engine that would suddenly die for no reason then run well. He had electric fuel pumps that burnt out and they couldn't find the reason....

Xplot,

have you run these mods via Nissan. Are they likely to void your warranty at all? Would it be wise to have nissan fit them so there are no issues about unauthorised mods?

No worries, I reckon life must be a bit slower over in South Aussie so it is natural for the cops to reflect the pace of society. QLD has a lot of modded fourbies and maybe that's why they are getting hit. The thing is, not all cops have the knowledge. Some are tyre kickers and others are very...

I have these rims on my GQ and they are a good looking rim. Be careful when sourcing these as the early ones tended to crack and were replaced under warranty by the dealers.

Dealers were chucking them out or giving them away to guys who needed trailer rims ??

This thread has raised a number of issues. Firstly, I had a concern with Australian 4WD monthly a few years back over modifications and insurance. As far as I am concerned they go hand in hand. To Jeeps,

a previous thread suggested that the Uniden combo sets don't work as well . As you have a 013 radio and scanner does it work ok as a radio? Can you receive/transmit OK and do your mates complain about the range of your set compared to their single function type.
