Is anyone having problems with the Insane Heat Web Site?

I've found the IH site to be a bit tempremental.

There forums arn't working for me ATM, and have been that way all week.
but everything else there works fine

I've got a nice selections of cars and tracks saved already, I was thinking of putting everything you need in 1 file and hosting it somewhere.

The game, with patch 2
gamespy
teamspeak
maps
cars

is anyone here interested in that?
My package would be aimed more at the rock crawling side of the game.

It's an old game, and there's not that many people playing it anymore
and the ones who do, only play the standard maps(.) with the utillity(.) and just play circuit racing (.) or capture the flag (.)

x-bell, the guy who pays for the teamspeak channel is a bit of a wanker too.

If I put all that stuff together would anyone be interested?

one of the main problems is unless everyone has the custom car/map you can't play with it.
Thats why I was thinking of putting a nice selection together, so we all have the same stuff and can have to fun raceing up hills....not as easy as it sounds

you need to put them in the vehicles data folder.

if you download the file i posted above it has a heap of maps and cars already set up to play ingame, and everything to get online

ok can someone please help me...
the other day i played with a couple of friends through our network using the internet option in the host a game menu. i assumed that i wouldnt be using any internet download because i dont have game spy installed. turned out that with 3 computers playing for 1 hour, we used 210mb of internet download!

can someone please explain how this occurred when i dont have gamespy to host an internet game on? and can someone also advise me as to how to play the game only through LAN, so not to use internet download?

Dont know what you mean? I was using it about 3 hours ago fine now it keeps crashing and says check your connection. I havnt changed anything on my comp.

I just used Frankeh's link to download the game and gamespy then installed gamespy, set it up how this link told me to http://www.insaneheat.com/Tutorials/GS_Setup.html and it worked. (i had to allow it to bypass my firewall though)
