Insane Game

Now that I have downloaded the game with vehicles and maps included how do I get the vehicles and maps in the game?

I know there is the cheats but shouldn't I just be able to start playing with everything available?

*edit* Do I need to extract them into the start file or just into the folder that insane is in?

This game rocks and the online community is HUGE!!!, but you have a look around.

go to www.insaneheat.com there you can find information on how to play online... where to get the 100s of addon maps and cars (people are making more all the time) and where to get the patches.
There are maps and cars for just about every 4x4 activity you can think of, from rock crawling to exploring... to baja and racing buggies

Its not played online through the ip address setting, its all done through gamespy which is a free service.

I've installed game spy and found 1nsane with people playing but how do i join their game? I think it needs to be installed to the computer, its not installed on my computer but i can still play it in single player.
How do i install it?

here is not the best place to ask for help... your better off signing up with the insaneheat forum and asking there. The people are very helpful, but most of the info you need is already there if you go searching for it.

Anybody tried the Viper Trails and the Python Trails maps?

If so are they any good? I've Downloaded them but can't get them working yet, grrrrrrr.

Yes I've tried it with and without the cheat codes.
I have carnage but want something new.

OK got them working and wow they make carnage look easy.

I also DLed heeps more buggies and still think the silverado comp truck and the EB buggy are the best 2.
The siverado is good because of the power it has and the way it larnches the EB is good because of power and suspension.

i have just spent the best part of my day crawling the viper trails..
i have about 5 buggies now..
this sniper buggy is AWSOME! best one BY FAR!!!
the red and white marker tracks arnt that hard, you just need to think about it!!

OK got it onto a disk by writing the ISO file got it installed but when I try and play, I only get a black screen I am getting to the point of the Russian Kid right now cussing
