Are you talking the 2L?
It can be done on a diesel, A bloke I work with rigid a setup from his vacuum for his brakes through a solenoid activated from the clutch to provide the vacuum to open the BOV on a turbo 3L.
I have to ask why you would want to though other than the wank factor? It would not improve the performance of the car at all. The whole idea of a BOV is to stop the turbo staling as the throttle butterflies close. Therefore making the car come back on boost quicker after a gear change and increasing the life of the turbo by preventing the shock loads caused by the compressor stalling. As a diesel does not use a throttle body like a petrol I fail to see the point of it.

depending a bit on which 2lt you have, they have a butterfly in the intake for emmsion purposes. a BOV will help but its cheaper and easier just to rip the butterfly out.
